From Thessaloniki Airport to the City Center

When there isn’t traffic it takes about half an hour to reach from Thessaloniki’s city center to the Thessaloniki airport by car. During high traffic times, you should even estimate one hour.

Except from a car and taxi you can go to the airport by bus using the buses 78, 78A(makes less stops passing also from the train station and the city center and 78N(night service) that is serving the route from the central Bus Station to the Airport passing also through the central train station and the city center. From Thessaloniki Airport to the Central Bus Station or the Train Station

If you arrive at Thessaloniki airport and you want to go to the Thessaloniki central bus station or the train station you can also catch the buses 78, 78A, 78N. The bus stop is very close to the arrivals and the bus passes every half an hour or maximum once an hour (depending on the time of the day). These buses make several stops at Thessaloniki city center, then at the central train station lastly at the central bus station which is located at the western side of the city.

From Thessaloniki Airport to Halkidiki Bus Station
